The hairy and the not so hairy

I was out partying with my friend Lina last weekend and I had the pleasure of meeting her roomie Saivo. Now if you are wondering which one is Lina, and which one is Saivo, I can give you a hint: Saivo is the one in black.

Introducing Trygve the Pug

I went out and got myself a digital camera the other day, and decided to test it on my favorite photo model; the family pug, Trygve. This dog is actually named after my great grandfather who's name was Trygve...apparently Trygve the dog looks like Trygve the great grandparent...I honestly cant believe Im writing this down for all of you to see...You must think my family is nuts...and you are probably right. But I have to say I think the name fits him. Its a common male name in Norway, both in the old days and today, and lets face it; human names for dogs is funny.

Anyways, Trygve loves to look straight into the camera when you take his picture...something that usually results in bright glowing eyes indoors. So I prefer taking his pictures outdoors, which of course he doesnt mind either.

Although the guy is a little chubby he is lively and playful like you wouldnt believe. I have a feeling I will be adding quite a few pictures of this guy as he is the funniest creature I know. I know most people say their dogs are smart and have feelings and all that. Trygve is dumb...adorable, but dumb. He snores like an old man, sleeps on his back with all 4 legs spread out in different directions and makes a mess whenever he's eating. He has his bright moments though, like all blondes...He has found a way to wipe his mouth after a meal on our clothes. Stupid humans like ourselves used to think he was cuddling and snuggling up to us like a kitten...Nope. -He is wiping his mouth.

Anyways, more Trygve pics to come.
